WellFest coming to Delray Beach

Vinyasa yoga will be demonstrated by Yoga Journey staff.
When WellFest comes to Delray Beach March 8-9, it will take over the Delray Center for the Arts for two days of fitness, food and healthy lifestyle options.

Delray Beach was selected because of its "feel-good vibe" and numerous health and fitness-oriented businesses, according to WellFest creator Bob Lipp.

Yoga Journey with a yoga studio in nearby Boca Raton at the Wyndham hotel starts off the Saturday demonstrations by showing all levels of vinyasa style yoga. Both days (11 a.m.-5 p.m.) are chock full of events and fitness demos. For a full schedule, go here.

The fitness demos are free, Lipp said. But the mind-body speakers at the Hyatt Place and the 60-exhibitor expo cost $15 per day, or $20 for a two-day pass. Exhibitors will offer expertise and free samples on the total wellness package, such as enhanced skincare, nutritional advice and the mind-body connection.

The speakers include: Brian Clement of the Hippocrates Health Institute in suburban West Palm Beach will discuss universal healing, Debbie Glickstein of Focus Foward Coaching  will talk about life coaching, Margaret Lembo of The Crystal Garden bookstore and spiritual center in Boynton Beach will discuss chakra balance, Dr. Lynn Migdal of Migdal Chiropractic in Delray Beach will discuss holistic fitness and Dolores Van Bourgondien of Synergy Fitness Boca will talk about a synergistic approach to health and wellness.

Namaste!
