My need to write is filled by working for The Coastal Star. I cover Boynton Beach and Delray Beach for the monthly newspaper. I write mostly about government issues, but occasionally I am lucky enough to interview people who inspire me, such as Ken Parker.

He lost his legs five years ago to an infection that started in his kidneys. He still wants to be independent and gets around fine on his motorized wheelchair. I approached him to try out the mats.
I also adopted a rescue dog in October 2014. Initially Sadie was shy and would not bark.
A few weeks later when she knew she would stay with me forever, Sadie found her voice and her energy.

I also try to go to my yoga class twice a week -- Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings --
at the West Palm Beach library, but those darn evening meetings are interfering with that plan.
The library helps by offering Zumba on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday evenings. I feel so energized after leaving the Zumba dance-party. I go to one of those classes if I can't get to yoga on Tuesday night.
Still moving
I want to encourage you to keep moving, even though I am not blogging regularly.
You can find me on Twitter as @ExtraStepBlog. I try to tweet daily about fitness and other stories I find interesting.
Glad to see your still moving! Can't stop, won't stop!
